Season 12 - Week 8

James Delahunt  still leads despite back-to-back losses, Gould previously in second also lost, allowing Britcliffe to take him with a brave pick of a previously faltering (read distracted by FA Cup) Everton.  Crunkhorn moves up to 4th with another away pick (MK Dons) and Smith remains in the hunt with another banker.

David Lloyd is bottom of the overall league with a dismal -£6.75, the great big ratty loser.

Gould's loss combined with Smith's safe pick and Cornwall's 3.60 pick of Sheff Wed to beat Cardiff means that the Pele league is tight tight tight at the top, even Shakespeare in 4th (who was let down by Wigan) remains in the hunt, only 1.68 adrift of Gould.  Two people shooting for their first title (Gould and Cornwall) are battling it out with two previous winners (Smith and Shakespeare), will experience tell, or can the newcomers claim the gold?

Picks of the Week

3 people picked Sheff Wed to beat Cardiff (Cornwall, Booth, Ross Jones) and 2 people picked Charlton to send Norwich down (Cornwell and Ricky Jones) at 3.60 these were the picks of the week.  Of the remainder only Stapleton's away winner of Bradford over Chesterfield (3.50) breached the 3.00 mark.

Winning Streaks

Only 7 people have picked ten or more winners on the bounce Roberts leads the way with 20, with the others being Nikukradze, Clare, Haywood, Booth, Noyce and Lines - Go on you can do it!

Losing Streaks

Ricky Jones and Simms have both picked 11 losers on the bounce, and Ben Drury and Matt Britcliffe "achieved" 10!
