Season 20 - Week 10 - Delahunt delighted, Davies distraight

In a dramatic last week long-time leader Mervyn Davies was passed by two players who started the week over £6 adrift. James Delahunt comes from nowhere to clinch the overall title with an outrageous 9.00 pick of Aston Villa to win away at Arsenal.  Pete Cornwell takes second with the same pick (Jassal also picked the same pick but started the week further back, it was however enough to secure him the Dalglish League title).  Mervyn Davies slips to third despite picking a winner.

Rob Weston becomes the first player to retain the Pele League title since Nick Lines in Seasons 11/12 and only the 4th person to win the Pele League twice.  Only Lines has won the league more than three times, can Weston secure an historic treble in Season 11.

Warman relegated... to page 2

In any other week Ben Warman's 8.00 winner would have made headline news, but in this week his pick was overshadowed, his pick of Palermo away at Sampdoria was however enough to take him from last to first and secure him promotion back to the second tier of picking.

Take a look at Cook..... and laugh

Ten picks ten losses, need I say more!  Daniel Cook hang your head in shame.

Other news

Not a great week for previous winners, as last years overall winner Jon Dunk is relegated from the Maradona League, Emma Sht Box and Craig the Sheepdip who won the Pele before Weston's double are both relegated from the top flight, Simon Gurd and Shakespeare (also previous Pele winners) have now been relegated from the second tier!

Enjoy the cup week, toodlepip
