Season 18 - Week 5

Alan Blackley consolidates his position at the top of the league with a "safe as houses" 1.40 pick of Rangers to win away at Kilmarnock.  He remains nearly £5 clear at the top and with only 5 weeks to go he must be confident that treading water will be sufficient for the remainder of the season.  Andw Ewart moves into second with an amainzing pick of Mainz away, back-to-back away winners for Andy and maybe just maybe 5 more of them..... Ben Drury moves into third with a second consecutive backing of the team playing Ipswich.... gah.

At the other end Paul Janyshiwskyj and Jeevan Jassal have picked 5 consecutive losers.  Paul is clearly now looking for any winner, as he has picked back-to=back home winners (including Chelsea), whereas Jeevan is still chasing the rainbow with a mixture of away winner and draw picks.

In the Pele League Craig the Sheepdip takes advantage of Gary Moss' slip, by picking a 2.50 winner to move top.  Emma Sht Box (the defending champion) moves off the bottom with a 3.25 pick,

Picks of the Week

Dave Entwhistle (Spurs away at Arsenal) and David Rosser (Birmingham home to Chelsea) both picked massive 5.50 picks, equal second best picks of the season.  In a week of high value picks, Paul Shakespeare picked a 4.20 winner (Forest away at Cardiff) whereas Emma Sht Box and Rob Weston both picked the Doncaster Swansea draw at 3.25
