Season 16 - Week 8

Lots of big wins this week with five separate draws picked but Matt Britcliffe still leads the overall league by 1.6 with Chelsea's championship winning result at Anfield. Ben Warman drops to fourth despite picking the Man City win as Hannah Cook picks the Leicester home win against Middlesbrough to climb to second place above Craig the sheepdip who had the Stoke Everton Draw. Craig the ram returns to form with the Sheff Wed Crystal Palace Draw to put him just over 2 behind the leader.

Top of the form table is Ricky Jones with 8.97 helped by his 1.87 pick of Bari at home to Genoa. These last three weeks have rocketed him from bottom of the overall table to second place in the Maradonna League with every chance of going up to the top league. It just shows that with two weeks of the season left anything is still possible.

The rest of the top predictions this week were Alan Blackley with the Swansea Doncaster Draw, Richard Rimington picking the Sheff Wed Crystal Palace Draw, Gary Moss with the Scunthorpe Nottm Forest Draw and Martyn Cornwell spotting the Auxerre Marseille Draw. Michael Kennedy had the Hamilton away win at Aberdeen, Jen Lewis the Morecambe away win at Shrewsbury and Simon Callan Portsmouth's last Premier League win for some time. Jonathan Dunk and Dave Entwistle both saw the excellent odds of Champions Newcastle's away win at QPR.
